Remembering Barbara Mills
From the Ventura Country Star TC Palm: Barbara Mills, 62, passed away December 13, 2015, at her home in Port Saint Lucie, Florida. Barbara and her husband, John, lived on the Isle until 2010 when they moved permanently to Florida. She worked in Washington for two years at The White House in support of the Nixon/Agnew administration and returned to Connecticut in 1973 to work for Firing Circuits Inc. where she met John, who was principal owner of the company. Barb and John lived in Weston and then New Fairfield until retirement in 2001. They maintained their lake home on the Isle for summers until 2010, finally spending full time at their home in PGA Village, Port Saint Lucie. Barb was highly active in many fund-raising charities and most notably for Martin Memorial Health Foundation for cancer treatment through the Pars Fore Pink golf fund-raising events. Barbara is survived by her husband, daughters Susan Vincent and Laura Rotondo, five grandchildren, a sister and two brothers.
