LEGAL NOTICE – TOWN OF NF – TAX DISTRICT OF CANDLEWOOD ISLE

Notice is hereby given that the second installment of taxes due the Tax District of Candlewood Isle based on the Town of New Fairfield’s Grand List of assessment year 2008, is due and payable on January 1, 2010. Payments may be made on or before February 1, 2010 without interest. If delinquent, interest will be charged at a rate of 1 ½% per month or a fraction thereof, from the due date with a minimum interest charge of $2.00. Failure to receive a tax bill does not relieve the taxpayer of his/her liability for payment of taxes or delinquent charges. Only one tax bill is mailed and is to be used for both installments.
